My name is Arthur Zuka, I am a BJJ black belt from Toronto with 15+ years of teaching experience.
I am passionate about teaching and sharing because as a junior belt I used to scour the web endlessly searching for good information.
Through my content, I want to help you develop your BJJ, even if you live on the other side of the world.

Rolling 🎤 Reflections: WORLD champion vs regular black belt
Firstly, thanks to Marcos Tinocco for allowing us to visit the academy, teaching a class, rolling with me for ages, then spending an extra hour of his time teaching and providing feedback. If you’re in the Boston area - it’s a MUST to train there!!!
People always ask me what is the difference between the upper echelon and a regular black belt? I think this video captures it perfectly.
If there is anything you’d like to see or anyone you’d like to see me collaborate with - let me know below!

That was a great video. I love Marcos' content. You were so runateran a roll with him. Osss.
Glad you enjoyed it! Can’t fully make out what that one word is…but thanks for watching !✌️✌️
Amazing stuff 🔥
Thanks for watching ! ✌️✌️✌️
Arther is not just a regular black belt in my opinion. he shows humbleness and always respects and promotes those in the video with him.
Thanks for the kind words sir ✌️
Great roll and tips
Agreed! I’m modifying how I approach passing X and SLX
@@zukaBJJ yeah that belt/hip lift idea is fantastic. Looking forward to trying it out + dropping to the hip to neutralise the DLR hook
Excellent video. Oss.
That's a good roll!
Thanks for watching! And dropping a comment ✌️✌️
Wow ALMOST makes me want to do jiu-jitsu again, thank you for sharing!
I still have hope!
Great vid. I been following marcos since I'm a lasso guard guy. Thanks again for the great content
I didn’t realize until recently how much free game he was putting out there! His UA-cam is huge.
Tinoco gave me my first big tip as a white belt. Get your grips first
It is super cool to see what a following he has; he post some absolute gems on his social media.
I use to train at Marcelo’s when Marcos was there and we were doing stand up and it was my turn to go against him. The only thing I kept saying to myself was what you kept saying and that is he is like a tree trunk. Super solid. With that said he was always a gentleman to me . Those were great times .
Same! He was very chill - this was the highest level person I’ve ever rolled with who didn’t try to murder me. It was also really cool to get feedback real time and after the roll. This was one of the best travel-training experiences I’ve had. Right up there with AOJ.
Like a dog flicking water off its back 😂 love this analogy
This is awesome! Great content as always. Can’t wait to try that belt grip.
Everyone has been messaging me to tell me it’s a game changer ! Glad my spanking was able to provide tools for others!!
Amazing content, disappointed Lionel Richie isn't the backround music tho
Sadly, the UA-cam gods will strike me down with a thunderbolt (copyright infringement)
Man, that holding the belt technique!
Fun video!
Amazing details from Tinocco. I rolled with him at Marcelo's and still have PTSD from his side control pressure.
This is honestly my favorite video of all time 😊 looks so fun!
Thank you! My favorite video (of mine) thus far anyways..!
Big Tiger x Big Oss 🔥 Epic Video
🔥🔥🔥
Marco and Zukabjj 🔥💯
🤯🤯🤯🤯 Thank you !!!!
Glad you enjoyed ✌️☺️
Great stuff. Commentary adds so much!
Tough balance finding the right amount of detail to articulate. Too much vs too little …
That half chunky lasso combo was pretty nice
The belt, lasso grip, and arm pin details are absolute gold! Best gi content out there 💪💪🔥🔥
Thank you! Science FTW
If you train with Zuka, you know what im talking about when I say that there is no greater joy than seeing him struggle against an opponent. Years of getting chirped at while he teaches...this brings me much needed solace lol! 😂❤
Seeing Zuka getting Zuka'd is a pleasure few will experience
Lmao I’m not sure who this is but I’m dying 🤣🤣
@@zukaBJJ Lol you know exactly who this is... ✡
@@zukaBJJ I enjoed seeing you get ragdolled at 8:26
Dude it's wild to see someone do this to you..
Levels to the game! I wish I could train with him more. I learned so much in 2 hours. Months of stuff to work on.
Such a great breakdown. Your content is getting better every video!
Thank you! Have been working very hard on making each video a little bit better!
The belt deadlift trick is amazing. I'm going to try it this week since we're drilling open guard.
I have been using it with great success especially as a lanky boy
Awesome video!
Big Hoss… no. Big OSS
So much 💎💎💎 in this. 🤯🤯🤯 will need to rewatch a bunch of times.
First! Awesome to see you roll with Tinoco, he's a beast.
Hahaha! Dang it you’re fast. Didn’t even mean to publish it yet. Thanks Silky!

Thanks for watching and the kind words ✌️☺️
Tomou um sufoco em
Thats just messed up 😮 love it!
Sick roll
Similar to Mergeli sweep. I love it 😊
That was excellent 👏 So fun to watch 😊
nice stuff, was fun to watch.
Awesome breakdown!
He hit me with that same bridging sweep - now I don't feel so bad 😂
Dude was a savage no doubt! Thanks for watching ✌️✌️
Will have to watch this one a couple times lol
This was easily one of the toughest rounds I have had in several months, but also the most I have learned from a roll in recent memory
Amazing roll. So technical, nice to see.
Awesome breakdown!!!🙇🙇🙇
Great video. That butterfly hook clearing at the end is beautiful. Lots of neat tricks in this round.
Yeah that was pretty cool - this fella had a bunch of tricks I’ve never seen which would make sense considering the calibre of guys he trains with.
@@zukaBJJ absolutely. That response was clearly muscle memory from many reps and shows the level of his training room. To break down the execution for commenters: He’s facing the hook which usually makes the hook sweep strong, limp legged (Zuka’s hook sweep now doesn’t lift their hips), then hip switched to turn the limp leg into a knee cut. Super slick sequence.
Awesome video!
Amazing commentary bro this was a fun one to watch!!🔥
A lotta gold in this one 🔥🔥
This is my fav roll so far. So many great grip details and staples. That lasso sweep was slick. It would be awesome to go through how to deal with lapel focused guards in future videos. Thank u!
This is amazing Arther , thanks for posting !
